Well the Ford Mustang would be the first one off the list, its a sports car and since I'm guessing that since this is your first vehicle your still a teenager so the insurance will be expensive, they get terrible gas mileage, and you'll get into trouble with it.
The mini cooper isn't very safe due to its size, they don't have very much power either.
A Jeep Wrangler would be ok if you drive it correctly. Meaning that if you try driving around corners in it like you would in a sports car you will roll it. They're top heavy so be careful. The new jeeps that have the V6 engines I would avoid as they don't get very good gas mileage. I would look for a Jeep with the 4.0L straight 6 engine. I don't know much about the new 4 door jeep wranglers but I do know that all jeeps manufactured now either have a 4 cylinder a V6 or one of the 3 available V8 engines. So I would stay away from newer model Jeeps that have been made in the last couple years.
Depending on what you plan on doing, where you live, and what your driving habbits are, will depict what vehicle is right for you. At all costs avoid sports cars, and very small cars like the mini coopers they're just too small to protect you in a crash.

I am going to second the remark that said to look for a Cherokee. They are much more reliable than a Wrangler and parts are very affordable considering that it has a mature aftermarket supporting the vehicle. The 4.0l motor is powerful enough to keep you out of trouble while not having too much power to get you into trouble. The Wrangler is on a short wheel base and can easily turn around on a slick highway before you have a chance to even correct the vehicles motion.
Having owned multiple Cherokees, Grand Cherokees, and a Wrangler, the best choice for the young driver is the Cherokee XJ.
The Mini Cooper is a good car, but it is made by BMW and they are notorious for charging high prices for replacement parts. Plus you need to find a reputable mechanic that can work on the Mini or always be taking it back to the dealer.
The Mustang........ I am in my 30's with a good driving record and I do not want to pay Mustang premiums on insurance so I bought a Crown Vic when I wanted a V8 car 4 years ago. Yea, it is not as fast as a Mustang, but it is comfortable and I am starting to get old and cranky in my middle age. Plus, I can haul the whole crew at the office to a restaurant for lunch. Find another four door sedan that can haul six adults.

Well, they are all fun cars, with a different purpose for each. Out of the list you provided, I would go with the Mini Cooper. I say this, even though I am a Dad, I think over all the Mini will be safer. Less likely to roll over (Jeep--roll overs are often fatal), and you don't have the power of the mustang to get yourself into trouble--and believe me, no matter what you think now, once you feel the V8, you will use it. You will be noticed too by the boys (and girls) in black and white with red and blue lights if you choose the Mustang.

It all depends on your preference. The Wrangler, more rugged and great off-road vehicles. The Mini, small vehicle that you can park just about anywhere. The Mustang, sporty vehicle with some "ump."
I myself would choose the Wrangler, more fun and a reliable vehicle. Parts and accessories are abundant and its a very easy vehicle to modify (such as lift kit, etc.). Also very safe vehicles, if properly driven.
