u need to show it the route also..else how will it recognize the file?..do 1 thing..make a folder..get the ppt file as well as ur linked file into it..now make the hyperlink in ur presentation..browing the file from this folder only..
then just write the whole folder into cd..copy it to the second pc..it will work dear..:D

Hi,

If you are using a Mac, from the File menu choose Save
As and choose the format of PowerPoint Package. This feature then gathers up all of your linked objects, copies them, and makes a new presentation that has everything all linked up for you.

If you are using a Microsoft Windows operating system the above feature is not available. You should in this case follow the instructions given in this article:
