Im from England as you probably already guessed and most Martial Arts originate from China, Japan ect. The only one that i know originated from England is Bartisu is there anymore?

Well the English were pretty good at fighting with staves. Then you have the Jousting and Long Axe figthing, not to mention fighting with sword and shield. Then there's boxing and fencing, these were battle proven British martial arts. The British Lancers pretty much ruled the battle field along with the Dragoons who used the fighting saber in combat. Same with corsairs and pirates who used the heavier cutlass on the ship deck. Just because they're not as exotic as Asian martial arts doesn't mean they aren't true martial arts.

yes-boxing (pugilism) a fighting art adopted by the british armed forces as part of its training curriculum. martial=army way.....further to the answer below-spirit combat is not a martial art. it has not been adopted or recognised by any country's armed force as a mode of combat. it is brian dosset's own form of fighting style which differs no more than any fighting style formulated by a long term practioner of the fighting arts.
