She was a photographer using a film camera. She photographed him. She put the exposed film under developing and fixing chemicals. She hung the completed photo up to dry.

she took (shoot him) his picture, the develops it in the proper chemicals (drowns him), then hangs him up to dry, and then she and her actual husband go out for a date.... simple :)

You said it wrong, she does not drown him, she holds him under water for five minutes, u gotta get it right.
