I'm looking for one that will report any changes within 24 hours for around $5.00 a month. Now I have heard of some that do this but I have heard good things and bad things so I want to see what you guys think.

Don't worry about monitoring you score. It's based on the data. If the data in the report is accurate, the score will take care of itself. What you can do is block your credit file so no one can access it and thus can't open new accounts. You unblock it when you are really going to apply for credit. This is free.

To pick a good trusted one, it'll be more than $5.00. Especially if someone's monitoring my credit changes, i'd pay more than $5 anyway. Your credit report and score doesnt always drastically change in 24 hours anyway..your credit report has more that just a FICO score, and creditors dont ONLY look at your number as a way to approve you.

Here's a few you can try:

This one i believe is the $5/mth but i've never used it...

I highly doubt you will find any for $5. TrueCredit is probably the best and lets you monitor your reports every 24 hours.

If you sign up thru this Wal-mart link, the price is $11.21/mo.

If not, I believe it's like $14.95/mo.

Keep in mind that the scores you get from them are FAKO's provided by TransUnion. They are not real FICO scores, which are the scores that all of the banks use. The only place you can get your real FICO scores online is MyFICO.com

you are the best one for monitoring this...those services just take your money for doing what yoiu can already do for yourself. you are allowed one free credit report every 4 months and with that pay 7 dollars for the credit score. this is very good monitoring and inexpensive..do it yourself

This service is unnecessary and a ripoff. You can "monitor" your credit report yourself by pulling your free credit report and looking it over for accuracy. If there are any problems, you can easily dispute them yourself.
