Of course you have a choice. You have the choice not to believe any of this. Problem solved.

Maybe God is a little excentric.
It is our fault because he (all knowing) knew that it would have happend to any one of us (being tricked by the snake) in one way or another we all have so that's proof we'd do no better.
He created us, and we were created for a purpose. To choose .... God or the things of this world (satan's world)
and once you realize that it is for purpose you were created, you need to start living for that purpose. Call it a game if you will and join the winning team.
Oh he is to be found, he's made it very clear that he's all around, provides all things and answers prayer, works in mysterious ways, etc... He's very evident in the life of the believer.
YUP!
If you say so.... but some things are true whether they're in agreement with you or not, whether they reach your understanding or not and whether you think it's right or wrong is of no consequence to God.
But.... your choice is extremely important.

Umm... they could have chosen not to eat the fruit. It was their fault. They had the choice, and they chose. Just like you have the choice to tell a lie or not to lie (no matter how small or whatever it seems at the time...)
Evidence of his existence? ...well, look around... do you REALLY think that this is an accident, that the atmosphere on earth just happened to be the perfect place for human life? ...we're not too close or too far from the sun... I could go on, really... but I won't. And it's God inspired... God inspired righteous men to write it. Though we all fall short. And, as Darwin himself said... if evolution were fact, there would be evidence of it ALL OVER...everywhere... it would be completely and totally irrevocable. But, as far as I know they haven't found the missing link yet...
But, (and not that I agree with this, but it is something that a Christian proposed to one of my classes several years ago... and, I have not looked into or studied this, but if you're going to contemplate, might as well go for it all...) God could have put "evolution" into motion.
Another theory, that I have not looked into, so therefore cannot comment much on it (but again goes with the whole 'you should contemplate it if you're going to contemplate...')... is. ..It's God... just because Carbon dating said it had been there for over a million years doesn't mean God didn't put it there like that 8,000 years ago (again, that's an exxageration and an example...I'm not saying that's what did or did not happen.)
And, yes, I know both of those are a little far fetched... but they did make me think (obviously not enough for me to look into it yet...)
He's no where around???? I'm going to assume that you don't read the Bible. You don't pray... you don't fellowship with Christians. You just want Him to come bail you out any time you need Him to, and you can do whatever it is you want, completely disregard His existence unless you need Him? is that correct??? ...I can only assume from the information I'm given...
here's a Bible verse (and a link to the full text below)-I do know that you feel the Bible is written by men, but you should try reading it and finding out what it means (ask pastors at local churches, find out what atheists think. Talk to these people in person, make them explain what they're talking about and why they think that way... know where the people are coming from... know the context of what they are saying.
Romans 2: 5-8
"But because of your stubborness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when his righteous judgement will be revealed. God "will give to each person according to what he has done." To those who by persistance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life. But for those who are self seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger."
And, God isn't out to trick you. He does let things happen (Job is an excellent example...) I mean, God tests you and your faith. The Devil, evil... wants to trick you. Wants to make you think things that are not ok... are ok. That's where your faith comes in and you know what is best, what God would want.
A bit over the top huh? How is it sick? ...If you created people, and they murdered innocent children, women, and men... stole from them, hurt them... would you not punish them? (God's Wrath Romans 1&2, and several other places). Sinning leads to death. If people are going to sin and not have any remorse or regret, and not repent and ask for forgivness, then they will have to answer to God. Everyone has to answer to God. Whether you are good, bad or indifferent.
Kids who do things they aren't supposed to are punished, they are put in "Time Out" or... whatever, until they say they are sorry for what they did... and parents who are smart make sure they understand what they did and why it was wrong, and make sure they are sorry. While we cannot know for sure that Susy is sorry even though she looks apologetic and is crying (she can be sorry she got caught)... God knows what's in our hearts... he sees through the crocodile tears of those who aren't sincere.
So, yes, it's either strive to be a good person led by the Holy Spirit and belive in God, and God's son Jesus...
Or spend Eternity away from God.
But Everyone has a choice.

God created us for himself, not for ourselves. We are his children, his very selfish, self centered, unruley, non careing, sinful children. This was not the life he chose for us, it was the life that Adam and Eve chose for us, giving into satan instead of obeying God. He came in the form of man to give us a chance to be redeamed, Gave his only begotten son, to die on a cross so that we may have eternal life in Heaven. Don't sound to selfish to me. But what does sound selfish is someone thinking that they are better or deserve more, what more could one ask for? Eternal punishment for mocking God, and rejecting his plan of salvation should only be observed as ones choice. Not Gods choice but the individuals choice.

Take a quick gander, (shufti, dekko) at Romans 9 19-23
"Potter's rights" is the name of the game.
The potter can do what he likes with the clay.
Including bake it and break it if he wants to.
No comebacks.
Vessel of wrath, made for destruction. (apparently).

I dare you to get on your knees and ask God for proof - with the commitment from you that you will give him your life if he does. You will get your proof, but will you refuse to see it, because although it will be undeniable it may be subtle, don't forget God respects your free will.

the fruit is allegorical brotha! dive deeper. the surface rarely uncovers any sort of truth. we wanted to be like God. This is the ultimate sin that we continue to live with, and which we continue to strive for. We are moving closer and closer to thinking that we can be God. our knowledge of good and evil has ruined us. For that, there is Christ.
