It couldn't hurt to talk to the boss, but you always have to be careful with your approach. No boss wants to get caught up in the middle of a lot of he-said, she-said kind of controversy. Maybe just approach him to say, "I hear people saying bad things about me that aren't true. I just wanted to come in and clear the air with you in case you are hearing these things too. I don't have a problem with anyone here at work, I love my job and I would like nothing better than for us all to get along and work together."

This way, you are framing yourself as the "good guy." If there are any bad guys on the scene, then they must be someone else.

Sounds like a mess over there! I think you should maybe try to talk to some co-workers to see if anyone knows who is spreading the rumors, at the same time you should talk to your boss and ask him why he is cutting your hours since it seems like you have good work ethics. If the rumors don't stop then you need to talk to the boss.

Introduce yourself and ask for a meeting .
At the meeting , detail your good qualities and what you contribute to the company .
Ask if they have any issues they are concerned about .
Answer any questions they have but do not go on at length about the harassment complaint unless asked .
Tell them you would like more hours and inquire as to that possibility .
The best way to dispel bad gossip is to present a professional demeanor at the meeting .

Good Luck !
