Way to go Rich Z, you stole my answer. All salt is sea salt. Take a large fresh water lake, eliminate it's inlets and outlets ,your lake just became an inland sea. Evaporate the water and salt remains.

"Sea Salt" is just advertising hype. It may have insignificant trace amounts of other minerals compared to refined salt but also may not, depending on how and where it was extracted. It may or may not have added iodine. If not, it is not as healthy as "regular" iodized salt because humans need iodine and, unless you eat lots of seafood it is hard to get any other way.

Yes it is, its more natural than the other kinds. sea salt is natraully made and is made by the same soduim your body produces, hence making it easier to digest/dissolve

I doesn't have the nutrients stripped away. It's heathier in vitimans and minerals, but it is still salt.
