Sorry, this is not a question but a statement. I want to say thank you for serving and doing what you do each day to protect the way me and mine live. Thank you for the freedoms we have. I wish you the best and will keep you all in my prayers.

The reason for this is that I answered a question where this "person" was being quite derogatory about soldiers & being sick of them being called heroes. He blamed them for things happening in his neighborhoods & in his life it seems. .

I guess he couldn't take the truth of my answer so he reported me for abuse. I didn't really say anything different than others but I guess I challenged his manhood by suggesting he might be afraid to take charge of his own life & just blamed others for his troubles.

Oh well, to each his own. But anyway, I added my thank you into that question. Since it was deleted I wanted to say it again. Thanks and bless you.

Well I'll say it but first I want to say to you thank you for the "Thank
You" being a veteran myself I do appreciate you sincere thanks.
Now as for this guy's manhood you may have challenged and stepped on that is his problem and you are right those fellow veterans in Iraq, fighting and dying for this country are heroes and if this guys has a problem with it that is also his problem but to blame them for what is going on in his neighborhood or in his life is just a total cope out and he needs to get a life grow up or be a man which ever suits him best, and for that he reported you for abuse and they deleted your response I mean lets get real here that is suppose to be free speech rights you no first amendment I wonder how many of those soldiers would he say that to there face in they were standing in front of him after all they been through in Iraq, and Afghanistan.
For all my fellow veterans past present fighting now and fighting tomorrow and dying as well I say THANK YOU YOUNG LADY it is greatly appreciated by me for sure and may God,bless you and your family as well.

Thank-you and we all get bumped now and again.

I got a flat tire today, I blame AlQaida!

Some will blame Bush.

We have fought continously in the Gulf since Aug 1990, nobody gave much of a darn between 1992- 2003. But we were there and fighting just the same.

Folks need to be aware that Iran is behind a great deal of the current turmoil throughout the MidEast. Weapons and funding for the "AlQaida" is from one source and foriegn nationals serving "AlQaida" are coming across the Syrian and Iranian borders.

Well we don't even control our own borders very well so how can we control Iraq's???

Thanks for your concern and ignore the nasty folks(their life must be miserable)

I left a comment also. How would I know he he roported me? Thanks for the Thanks.. I agree that if you don't support the war that is on you. The armed forces that protect this country do a job that most citizens don't want to do. It takes a special kind of person to willingly run toward danger instead of away. Police, firemen (male and female) EMT's, and the armed forces ( not meaning to leave anybody out if I did) they all deserve a bit of respect and a thank you once in a while. But then I am biased.

The little skid mark reported me, too--guess he didn't like being called out for being an idiot. It's okay, though--I reported his question well before he reported my answer, and I hope I wasn't the only one to do so. His question was far more derogatory and childish than any of the answers he got; in any case, it ought to be a Yahoo policy of "ask a stupid question, expect a stupid answer".

My brother was a Vietnam vet. He served 3 years in that country. Thank you for supporting our troops and our veterans. Regardless how you feel about war, the fact is still that we have our men there and they deserve all the support, love and prayers that we can give.

You don't have to be for the war, but our soldiers should be supported no matter what. They chose to defend our country, and would should grateful for those who are brave enough to serve and defend our freedoms...

For the gentleman (i use the term loosely) you are refering to, for him to be able to say that in the first place by using freedom of speech, he should be even more grateful for those who protect his freedoms.

I know exactly which question you are talking about, and I left a nasty little answer for that inconsiderate POS....

As a former soldier, and a very proud veteran that is still working for the government, I thank everyone that is still doing their part too. Whether its military, or another form of government service....

Here was that guys question for those who dont know what she is talking about...

Wow, I got reported too. What's his problem. At least I reported his rant before I was reported.
I fought so he could rant and have bills to pay and a place to live. And I would do it again.

Morgana, that is so wonderful. My dad was in the Army, and he said the best part about the job was people telling him "thank you for protecting your country", etc. He said that no feeling could ever compare to those.

Don't worry about that SOB. I just sent him a nice response wherein I pitied him rather than call him names. We all must rise above so called "people" like him and show him that every one in every branch of the military are family. He is miserable and will die that way. Let us all show him our Military pride and say THANKS to all service members. Bless you all.
