safe? why would you want to get rid of one and if you don't think anything of it why are you so afraid that you look for a "safe" way to remove it, if it is only a book to you?

Do not think about it and what the message is trying go to tell you. I think that is the safest way. Wipe it out of your mind. : ).

I love the bible, I have many of them and I would not want to get rid of them.

Well...you could use it to balance an uneven table, or you could donate it.

...Although the way that you say 'safest way' disturbs me. Is someone going to kill you if you don't get rid of it or something? You might want to call the cops if it's really that dangerous.

Actually, a really good idea is to donate it to a local church. Or you could donate it to a Library if it's in good enough condition. If it's in bad condition, however, you may as well just throw it out. It needs to be readable if it's gonna be reused.

Give it to Goodwill or the Salvation Army. If you don't want it, someone out there may.

Book burning/destroying is never cool, even if you don't agree with the book.

I agree the "safe" comment is kinda strange. But, like any other book, you can just give it away. Take it to a homeless shelter, or church, or library. Also, like burning a book is a horrible thing to do, defacing it is also horrible.

Take it to Goodwill. Drop it off at a church somewhere. Someone would want it and would appreciate it.

Don't just throw it out.

Drop it in the Sammath Naur, on Mount Doom.

Murazor and LOTR fan would concur.

Safe? The safest for all of mankind would be to destroy it, such as incinerating it.
