How many Jehovahs Witnesses are on here bantering back and forth counting this time on your time sheets as preaching? I see a few people posting incessantly the watchtower.borg website link with their answers. Is this considered time now?

Cathy: They took 20 years of my life is all they did to me. If you do not know what time is then I guess your sorry A$s should not be commenting or answering should you? Pathetic that.

They're out there lurking. I think many of them wisely avoid commenting when one of us escapees (35 years for me) posts a question directed at them.

I would guess many of them count this as time in their "ministry." They're told to find alternate ways for "incidental witnessing." Since it's harder and harder for them to find people at home, especially on the classic Saturday morning, they are instructed in other ways to find people wherever they may be. This is a "place."

(To be considered an "active" witness, they have to report some amount of time spent witnessing to people.)

I believe some do report their time spent here but not all. I think it depends on the situation.

But i just have to say.......It must bring you guys such satisfying joy to insult Witneses... and the unloving ways to make comments using foul languages and mocking these people. If you have left the religion and feel that you've escaped from what you all call brainwashing, then leave it at that. There's no use to bring shame upon yourselves by making rude comments and insults. I'm Catholic and i am starting to feel that those of you who are Born Again Christians (seem to use the phrase: PRAISE THE LORD) are not so loving towards other people but your own kind. Are the Jehovah's Witnesses a threat to you or us that we have the need to attack them every chance we get? Aren't all Christians supposed to promote peace and not hatred?

Instead of insulting the JWs, why not instead tell others WHY you have the true religion?

When I speak to people about our loving Father Jehovah I don't look at my watch. I do it out of love for my neighbor. Jehovah wants to draw people to the truth and I am very happy that he uses me, a imperfect man to share in this life saving work. Jesus said his Father could make the rocks cry out if he wanted to but he uses us. That's special.

I used to be Protestant and now am Catholic.

I really do not like to bash other faiths, but I have become very disappointed in the "Literature" that has been left at my door and why some of it blatantly lies about my beliefs and my faith.

I do not mind a fair debate, but bearing false witness is a sin.

So, I have lost all respect at this point.

Peace be with you and them.

I find it curious that they think us bashing the WBTS is the same as bashing them Persona ally...I hear a lot of Baptist, or right wing bashing and I never considered it a personal offense.....There seems to be an inability to separate the founders of the religion from the followers of the religion...

YOU are the ones who refer to your faith as the TRUTH, when it couldn't be farther from the truth.

There are simultaneously too few Jehovah's Witnesses here on Yahoo Answers, and also too many Jehovah's Witnesses here on Yahoo Answers.

(Hebrews 10:24,25) And let us consider one another to incite to love and fine works, not forsaking the gathering of ourselves together, as some have the custom, but encouraging one another, and all the more so as you behold the day drawing near.

Slightly less than the number who seem to live to bash them, I guess. It's kind of pathetic. What did they do you? And what's this "time" you're talking about?

sweetie I am truly interested in all of you
I feel your lives are in danger
I know what I have learned can help you also
And the only way to get your attention is to advertise it.
Words can't get your attention...you scoff at everything told to you.
God is named Jehovah and he cares about you.
He said if no humans would come talk to you he would make the stones cry out about his glory.
The purpose people were created was to live a happy life on earth
God's purpose has not changed.
He still loves you and has sent messages to you via this forum..yet you still can't see God.

Please get a bible study going to learn the way to save your life.
