i had a dream about jesus once. i was really little when i had the dream. i dreamt i was standing at the church's pulpit signing something to the congregation when all of a sudden a trap door opened up underneath me. and i foundmyself on the floor of a dark basement. I heard chanting....and saw a shadow of what i now know to be a catholic priest. i was afraid. I saw a black cat stop and stare at me...then pass me. As a child i hated my basement...i was terrified of the dark...actually i still am...but anyway, it makes sense that i would be afraid of a basement for this reason.

i got up and started to slowly walk around...very quietly. i passed a boiler...and on the other side was a table with a cardboard box exactly in the middle of it. being curioius, i went up to the box...and i opened it. immediately there was this blinding light and all of a sudden jesus was standing before me. he had the crown of thorns on and he opened his arms wide as he said " do not be afraid". then my dream ended. Obviously i havent taken this message to heart...because even to this day i am afraid of one thing or another in my life.

what i want to know is what was jesus doing in a box? lol.

He actually came to me in a dream once. Right after my uncle died i couldnt find the strength to even get up and go work out ( which is my fav thing to do). I was just depressed and thought i couldnt do anything w/o him. And he came to me and pretty much gave me a wake up call that everything was fine and that my uncle was really dissappointed in me. I dont know if i would be the same person i am today w/o that visit.

Yes - in His blessed Word and Sacraments.
Those are the only ways He's promised to reveal Himself until He comes again.
