Hundreds of thousands have already attended the "Follow the Christ" district conventions, as of July 13, 2007.
Jehovah's Witnesses have arranged for literally THOUSANDS of conventions worldwide presenting the 2007-2008 theme "Follow the Christ". Hundreds of conventions will be held across the United States:

During 2006, more than 2.3 million attended Jehovah's Witness conventions in the United States, meaning that active Jehovah's Witnesses made up less than half of that attendance. The entire 2007 "Follow the Christ" program clearly admonishes its audience to follow Jesus Christ.

Last weekend there were over 7,500 on Sunday at the comvention in Cypress, TX. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend although ours is in Moblie, Al in August. It's torture not telling the friends in our congregation about it! grnlow, so sorry you are too sick to attend! Can't wait til the time when none of us will say 'I am sick' Sweet dreams everyone.

It was so awesome! The sound dramam was my fave. I hope they do that again. I took my neices and nephews so I didn't get as much out of it as I would have liked to. But what I did hear was awesome. They loved the drama as well. It was in the afternoon this time so that was their naptime. They had a hard time staying awake for it. I loved seeing all the guests come in. It was amazing how many came just from the invitations left in their doors. WOW

Mine isn't until the 20th of this month. Last year I went to the one in Corpus Christi and it was wonderful. This year it's right next to the city from where I live so I won't have to be traveling far.
Okay, I put the wrong date. Mine doesn't start until the 27th.

I had mine a few weekends ago! Ours was in the South Eastern Parts of the State. It was GREAT!!!!!!! I loved the audio drama!!!!!!!!!!!! Wasn't that GREAT?!?!?! Sooo awesome!!! It really makes God's Word come alive! I love our New Release also! I always love the DCs. I love the Christian Association, the fellowship. We truly are a united, loving, worldwide, brotherhood. You can not go anywhere else and find that.

I'm not a Witness but I did attend one day in San Francisco. I also got a copy of the book.

I did and it was so nice and inspiring, it really made me more dedicated to learning the Russian language. It was good. And the last talk of the day is always so good!
