ALL dyes damage your hair at least a little. How often your hair can stand being dyed depends on how you take care of it. Don't do it more than once every 3 or 4 months and use conditioner on it EVERY time you wash your hair. If you can also use a cream rinse, that's even better. I like Sunsilk shampoo, conditioner and cream rinse to keep my hair super soft and shiny and it's not that expensive, but everyone's hair is different, so find something with low alcohol content that works for you.
PS: If you dye your hair too often, you risk frying it. If this happens, it'll start to fall out, so be careful. It'll only take so much before that happens.

I wouldn't do it more often than once every four weeks. I mean, if you have a color emergency and have to have it done again, go ahead, but don't make a regular habit out of it, and let it rest for a little while afterwards.
Just another little tidbit of information: if you use Manic Panic dye, then don't use regular hair dye overtop of the hair you did with MP. Your hair will break.

Dye damages hair with each coloring, even if its just a little. If you are worried about damage to your hair, you really just cant dye it. You might be able to find a certain type of coloration technique or formula that does not damage hair but its probably very expensive. I wouldn't bother as it just makes you look like a trendy whore.

definite, non everlasting dyes dry your hair out which will at last bring about extra beneficial injury in case you do it too normally. utilising them each now after that's ok, yet a as quickly as each week isn't reliable in any respect. in case you truly need to dye your hair i could advise basically finding out on a colour and getting it completely dyed, via a expert on account that they have the final products and you do no longer possibility letting it technique too long and making it darker then you truly needed it. yet once you do get a non everlasting dye flow to a salon and ask what's ultimate to apply to your hair variety. and there's a sturdy possibility that they'd have some non everlasting dyes that are no longer as in all possibility to break your hair. i wish this helped you out! And reliable luck! :)

I would say once. If you use permanent hair color, and you only dye it once, it will still take a long time for the color to fade out. You would have to keep dying your hair.

You should wait at least a few weeks in between temproary colorings and until it grows out noticeably for permanent coloring. It's still gradually damaging.

It really depends on your hair texture, health and the kind of colorant you use. But 60 days is a good place to start.
