Does God often hide His purposes so you will live on His promises?

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentence.

No, its not that God hides our purpose. And He never hides HIs purpose for the plan of salvation. But sometimes God wont yet reveal jsut what all He is calling us to ,until HE knows we are in a position to recevieit . God hides nothing, but He will revelal things as we are ready to receive them, and then He reveals to us how to do those things of God. HE is faithful, a good God , a God of love.
What an honor to serve Him. God is longsuffering and holds on to us so tightly and will not easily let any of us go, but He will let go when a person totally convicnes Him that I will never ever want you or receive you, go away. Then God will go. He already knows who will do that, but He still gives us many chances to change our mind, becasue HE loves us so much, and when those are lost, GOd will show them all they chances they had, that HE was a fair and just God and they are lost, due to the fact they would not ever leave the devils influence and go To HIM>

I think that God wants us to know what His purpose is, however, it is the journey that sometimes can be the most important- even more than the destination. He does answer prayer differently- by sometimes not telling us the full story of His purpose so we can learn to trust Him and His promises- good question, and great scripture. Remember the promise God made to Abraham about having a son, and being the father of many nations- He had to wait 25 years for that promise to be fulfilled- and then God asked Abraham to sacrifice Isaac- which of course, He did not have him do- however- the purpose of God sometimes can be very hard to see- that is why He gives us His many precious promises in scripture and in our own lives.

no longer non secular, yet non secular. i attempt to think of the international without elegance. inspite of all that occurs from prevalent. elegance is around us 3 hundred and sixty 5 days a twelve months.. huge and small, on occasion a theory, a grin, bugs or basically waking and understanding that we've been given yet another day. Here's how I see it: If we knew EVERYTHING God was up to in our lives, we still wouldn't understand. That's why it's called "faith". Trusting God when you're not in the know. Being able to believe in God without seeing Him in the flesh. Faith, just have faith.
