Did you know you have commited a crime? There is a thing called the legal age of consent. If you and the girl were not over that age, what you did is illegal. It was a bit silly any way to be honest, sex is about much more than just the physical act and 13 is just not old enough. You're probably not even old enough to understand why you're not old enough...I mean, how did it get round school? What do you see sex as, a Boy Scout Badge? That is one very good example of why you arent mature enough to be having sex! Its meant to be special, and PRIVATE! How does the girl feel about her private life being public knowledge?

Tell your Mum, who says your Dad even needs to know?? You'll probably get grounded for a year, as no doubt your Mum (and Hers!) will also think you're not old enough and will suspect you of having sex if you're ever left alone again! Convince them you know what a serious thing you have done. They are going to be angry I suspect so try and keep your temper. Dont argue back at them and say you need their help. Keep them on your side, take your punishment like a man, as you now are one. And dont think because you've done it once it would be ok to carry on!

Do you go to a private school? Why would the teachers care? That said, I would tell your parents, before anyone else does. Let them know you were careful (used protection) if you did. Let them know she's not pregnant. And maybe apologize for making a little bit of an @$$ of yourself =) Don't worry .. we've all done things we regret. And at 13, you;ve got a long life ahead of you to make more!

They are probably trying to scare you, so you wont do it again or any time soon! or so that there are not any consequences in a few months down the line, who knows?!just be open with your parents...whats the worst they are going to do at the end of the day!!! Everyone has been there and done it!! And it isnt like the girl is up the duff or any thing! but good look other wise!!

Tell them as soon as possible as you will need them on your side if the school takes this to the authorities, bottom line is never mind she never got pregnant, you used condom etc. thats not the issue, to the person who said it has nothing to do with the teachers are completely wrong, you have broke the law. They have a duty to report it. Good luck. But in the future think very hard before taking a major step like this in your life.

You need to tell your mom that you and she need to have a talk. It's not going to be easy. I am the mother of a 13 year old son and I'm not sure how I would handle hearing it either.

You need to be honest though... you should tell her in a manner in which she will be understanding. You know your mother, so you should be able to do that. Don't just come right out and say it. Explain the circumstances.

I hope you used protection.... be sure and let her know you did. If not... maybe this is a lesson you need to learn.

your 13 so ur still considered young so that means on the sex issue you are at an age where most people would assume you havent done anything so deny it there is no proof go over the story with your gf and get it figured out to the tee and the teachers arent allowed to tell your parents stuff like that and if you want to be safe lie tell your teachers that you told ur parents

Oh dear. Now you've done it haven't you. I'm sure your Mum is the right person to tell. You boys always know how to get round Mum so make sure you give her a big hug and tell her you love her and have a confession to make to her. I hope everything goes OK and that you will wait until you are older before doing this again.

Tell your mom. One thing I do not understand is what the heck the school is doing. Yes you are a minor, but informing your parents that they heard a rumor you had sex, that is so wrong. And sorry, too young dude.

By the way: Wait until the school tells the girl you slept with's Father, then you gotta problem.

well who is a big headed 13 year old, who can`t handle the flack when it comes in... teachers have no right to tell your parents if it was done out of school hours ???? as for your parents are you going to tell them everytime you have sex ?? or just when you get found out, keep your mouth shut on all fronts and especially when you and your girlfriend have sex, unless of course you like to make yourself look the MAN

Tell your teachers that what you do in your personal life is none of their god damn business and that if they want to risk the consequences that come with accepting rumors, that are spreading amongst to the students, as factual enough information to warrant notifying your parents, then maybe they should not be the people in charge of educating our youth. That's a horrible example for them to set. Because since they didn't hear it first-hand, it's merely hearsay and could just as easily not be true, which is why teachers shouldn't be getting involved in personal matters of this nature in the first place. If they don't agree, tell them you'll spread rumors about sleeping with one of the faculty. That will shut them up.
