It means you admit that you were born a sinner and acknowledge the need for a savior. You acknowledge that Jesus is that savior, the only one is history who offered to die for you to bridge the gap between you and God. You accept that saving grace and allow the Holy Spirit to come in and begin changing you so you can leave behind the old ways and become more like Christ.

Surrender your life to the Lord Jesus Christ and live by His rules which are the Word of God, the Holy Bible. Believe that Jesus is who Jesus said He is.

That is NOT a Biblical concept. The book of Acts is the ONLY place in scripture which tells us how to BECOME a Christian and it NEVER mentions "accepting Jesus."
