“ALL ONE FINAL TIME ETERNAL DESTRUCTION FOREVER.”
These are the words that a responder chose to capitalize while describing what was likely to be discussed in a Jehovah's witness funeral service.
Did this person realize what he was emphasizing? Is this the underlying tone of HIS message? He talked about God, Jesus and a restored paradise earth and how no one would ever die again. But the thing that stands out to the objective observer is everybody's going to DIE.
Jehovah's witnesses carefully and methodically dissect the Bible and present a message that's supposed to appeal to all mankind. They want to emphasize how genuinely "nice" they are because they are doing the will of God. And they want you to join them.
But what is the part they are holding back from you at your door? What is the part they wait to tell you after they've held your interest for weeks of study? That most of mankind will die to bring about that happiness they've been telling you about.

"Do you think Jesus is happy when you attack his Fathers Organization?"
I didn't think Jesus was happy when I learned what was happening in the organization that they were trying to cover up!

Sorry Suzanne, this is one time I dont agree with you. They preach "eternal oblivion" after the final battle of Armageddon.
We Christians (they are not christians of course) preach an
"eternal Hell". Both prospects are unpleasant. The difference is, the Jehovahs Witnesses are wrong.
When the Christian warns against the prospects of eternal hell he/she is preaching the "flip" side of the Gospel. This is the consequense of rejecting Christ. The harshest words of warning in Scripture about hell come from our Lord Himself.
Christians that do not present the alternative, are not preaching the full Gospel message. It is better to be "scared" into receiving Truth, than to be fed "pablum" all of ones life, because some christians are afraid to "hurt" someones feelings.
On the other hand though, it WOULD be more honest of the Jehovhahs Witnesses to be "up front" about their beliefs right at the begining.
It is bad enough to be wrong about the doctrine. But to be BOTH wrong AND deceptive is inexcusable.

People are so quick to listen to only one side of an issue and make a judgment. Why not listen to both sides first and then make an honest decision instead of rushing to judgment?
At one time I also believed what I heard about Jehovah's Witnesses until I asked a active Jehovah's Witness if these things were true. They were lies !!! I started studying and my Wife and I were baptized in August 1996. I searched and searched for the truth until I found the truth to be with Jehovah's Witnesses. All this talk about weird images in the pictures and that we are a cult is so untrue !!! We are not a cult. We are the most loving people on the face of this earth. Believe me if everyone was Jehovah's Witnesses we would not be experiencing all the horrible things you see happening today in the world. And that's a FACT. Remember to that people that think they are fighting against us are really fighting against Jehovah God. We all know how much Jesus loved his Father. Do you think Jesus is happy when you attack his Fathers Organization? I will pray for all of you who continue to speak lies about the TRUTH.

I'm not a hateful person, but I tend to disagree with the Jehovah's Witness' interpretation of the Bible. The very end of time, Jesus will restore the Earth and Jesus will rule the new Earth. Those who accepted Him will join Him and live forever. Those who did not will burn with Satan. According to the JW's, if you're not a part of their 'cult', then you become nonexistent, not even dead, just wiped out. Refer to Arianism; the JW's are very similar to Arianism.

Make no mistake...
...The message of the bible certainly does NOT seem "positive" to everyone. The "good news" is "good" for mankind in general, and especially for godly persons.
(2 Peter 2:9) Jehovah knows how to deliver people of godly devotion out of trial, but to reserve unrighteous people for the day of judgment to be cut off
True Christians (such as Jehovah's Witnesses) work primarily to preach "the good news", of course, but when appropriate they also do not shy from boldly proclaiming truths which may displease men.
(1 Thessalonians 2:2-4) We mustered up boldness by means of our God to speak to you the good news of God with a great deal of struggling. ...we speak, as pleasing, not men, but God

Are you in the dark? Yes we will come to the end of a road someday. But I am sure you have heard worse from your closest friends. We will all die physically but not spiritually. this body will return to the ground and our spirits will go to God. Then the judgment.

the stories of the brutality of god in the bible are a mirror of what human-beings would do - not a god. Just further evidence the whole whacked out mess is man made.

Ok. so don't open your, when they knock..... or simply explain to them that you have a different belief and do not want to change your religion.
When Witnesses come to my door I explain to them that I know the Lord personally and I don't need a religion to get me to him. At that point they leave.
