Couple Ideas:
Best place is to find something like a Record Exchange. Basically a local chain of stores that buys/sells movies, music, and videogames. You can get great deals there and lots of selection.
Another idea is to go to Video Rental stores like Blockbuster, usually they have a large selection of games they are trying to get rid of and will sell very cheap
Garage/Yard sales are also good to find amazing deals but you need to patient and wade through a lot of junk to find the diamond in the rough
The final option is of course eBay which will give you access to any game you can imagine. Only drawback is that you pay market value for the game whereas some of the options above can get you slightly better deals if you are lucky.

Gamestop or EB games. Bargain bins can find some cool titles. (It's better than getting GOUGED for shipping on eBay).
Plus if you join their membership you get a percentage off all their used games and a subscription to a gamer magazine.
