Well in the Book of Revelation in the Bible, it talks about 7 seals that will be broken, the first 4 of the 7 refers to the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
These seals contain symbols of death, famine, world wars, martyrdom, earthquakes, and the Antichrist. It also states that there will be "seven trumpets" announcing aspects of the "End Times": mankind being judged, seas turning to blood, water turning to blood, sores on people's bodies, plagues, infertility, and the introduction of "seven bowls", in the King James Version called "seven vials". These bowls are a third each of the sea, humankind, water, animal life, ships, crops, and earth, all engulfed by an infinite abyss.
Then it talks about how Satan will be released from his prison he was in and how he will assemble an army of countless foes, and lead them on an attack against the Earth. But then God comes out of Heaven followed by many angels, and he destroys all of Satans army with fire from the sky. Then God invites all who believes in him to come live with him for eternity in Heaven or stay and suffer on Earth or in Hell.
There's some stuff in between, but it's kinda small and unclear.
The book of Revelation is a very difficult book to understand, but i'm studying it right now in my small group. It's a very interesting book and I reccomend reading it over.

Several. Many Native American religions believe that the world has been destroyed and new worlds created for humans to live in. A lot of those religions believe that we're approaching the end of another cycle.
Asatru (the Norse religion) talks of Ragnarok, the Twilight of the Gods, in which the gods go to war and destroy all the world save only the World Tree, in which the survivors of humankind will find refuge until it's time to repopulate the earth.
Christianity has its Revelation, with the rain of fire and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
And then there's the Aztec prediction that the world will end sometime in 2012 or 2025 if I recall correctly.

The Bible does not teach that the earth will be destroyed.(Isa.45:18)It does teach however, that the 'world' of wicked mankind will be destroyed.(Ps.37:9-11)That will occur at the great war of God the Almighty,Armageddon.
(Rev.16:13-16)
The Bible does not give us the exact time of this occurance.(Matt.24:36)But Jesus gave us signs to help us determine when we would be living in 'the time of the end'.(Matthew Chp24;Mark Chp13 and Luke Chp21).Paul also highlighted certain characteristics we would experience in what he called "the last days".(2Tim3:1-5)
Jehovah's Witnesses conduct free home bible studies. If you are interested why not go to your local kingdom hall.Someone would be only too happy to assist you.
I used to be a catholic. My knowledge of what the Bible contained was very limited. But Jehovah's Witnesses have a thorough understanding of God's Holy Word. They are the best people to see.

when?
But of that day and hour no one has knowledge, not even the angels in heaven, or the Son, but the Father only.
how ?
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief; and in that day the heavens will be rolled up with a great noise, and the substance of the earth will be changed by violent heat, and the world and everything in it will be burned up.
