Recently, I changed my old Nvidia Geforce 6800 Video Card for an Nvidia Geforce 7300 GT. The instructions manual said I had to uninstall my all my old drivers, so I did. I booted up my computer and noticed all the startup screens as normal, but when I reached the login screen, my monitor said "Out of Range" I did have a problem where my computer cannot support resolutions below 960x600, dunno why. I already tried pressing F8 before the login screen to change the settings to Safe Mode, but 1. My computer cannot support 680x480 (Safe Mode resolution) and 2. My keyboard for some reason doesn't turn on before the Login Screen. The only possible way I could think of getting on my computer and changing the resolution is visually click on things and hope a miracle could occur, but thats really hard for me to do. If anyone has an alternative way they could show me, That would be greatly appreciated.

Well I know I have to install drivers, but I already tried using another monitor, every monitor had the same error that nothing appeared on the screen. I'm no computer expert, but one of you guys who gave some advice said something about my DPI being too large? Could you give me some details on that and how to change it?

You need to login, install the new drivers, reboot and then set the new resolution.

Your best bet that I can think of is to borrow another monitor.

What sort of monitor does not support 640 by 480 at 60 Hz? What resolution is it running in up to the login screen?

I hate to tell you this but I had the same problem and even had a professional try to fix it what it means is your graphics card is to high for your monitor. if at lowest setting your still getting the out of range on the monitor then the only way to fix it is to buy a new monitor. I had to upgrade to a more advanced lcd monitor to fix it and to be compatible with my graphics card. Good luck-
