there is this guy I have known for a little over a year now and we would see eachother out in the night throughout the year, he would always try to talk to me, but I was never interested because I was always hooked on my ex. well i saw him out again a short while ago and he looked adorable and he was standing so close to me talking,i was looking at him and i had these warm feelings and felt so safe, is that a mutual feeling when one person feels it? or could i feel it and he could not?

You probably felt it and not him... but only way to find out is ask him and follow up on if he's still interested in you.

Okay I'm a little confused by your question but just because you have those feelings doesn't mean he does. Now by him standing really close to you shows a little intimacy there and if he takes the time out to talk to you and if he ever looks really happy to have run into you than there's a possibility that he does like you. next time you see him ask him to go to the movies with you or go golfing or something fun so you can get to know each other. It can just be a casual friend thing and you can use that opportunity to kind of feel it out and see if you really like him as much as you think and see if he acts like he likes you. Sometimes it takes a little time before you can just jump right into something.

It's not mutual if only you felt it but you wouldn't know if he shared the same feeling unless you asked or he told you. Yes, it is possible that only you were feeling that way at that moment but if he's into you then I'm sure he was feeling something also.

i think it could be mutual.. but it could also be just you feeling it... i think you need to look at the situation a little more... was he close to you... looking at you with the loving feeling? how was he talkgin to yuo?
if you arent sure.. try getting back together with him and going out again and see what happens....
good luck!

I don't know but you've nothing to lose by asking the guy next time it happens. If he was talking to you when it was happening I feel his body language was telling you that he was having the same feelings.

Of course you could feel it without him feeling it. Why don't you ask him to hang out one on one. Then you'll know for sure

it does not mean it is mutual, it means he likes being around you...maybe not be in love with you.
