The devil doesn't have complete free will as when he went to mess with Job(God had to give permission). I don't see he can repent, because he is not human.

Satan does have free will (at least according to Christian myth). It was Satan's abuse of his free will that led to the fall.

There's been a lot of arguing through the centuries over whether Satan could or couldn't go back into the heavenly fold. Some theologians say it's impossible. Others say its inevitable. I believe orthodoxy these days says it will never happen.

Jeffery Burton Russel (a medieval historian) wrote a series of books about the devil, and they're very accessible. The titles (in order) are:

1. The Devil
2. Satan
3. Lucifer
4. Mephistopholes
5. The Prince of Darkness

In Revelation 12, Satan see's his time is short, but does he repent ? If anybody on earth see's with Freewill, it's Lucifer, as he see's his time is short.

God wouldn't let the devil become equal to Him again, he turned on God and used his power to his advantage so God punished him. Read Job (the book in the Bible)
