I'm on a GI diet, all the food is really healthy, however it tells you to eat WAY more than I'm used to and I have to force myself to eat all the meals even though I'm already stuffed! Instead of losing weight I'm putting on weight.
Will I still get the benefits of the diet if I stop when I'm full?

I have heard of the GI diet and it is important that you eat a lot because the meals actually don't have a whole lot of calories. I would think it would be okay to stop, but make sure you eat the bulk of it because in order to gain muscle and lose fat your body needs the nutrients in the GI diet.

I have never heard of such a diet, but it doesn't sound good. The simple truth about losing weight is that you must burn more calories than you take in. This diet doesn't sound like it will help you do that.
