It's a 2nd wedding for both of us & we're both in our mid 30s...so we're going for "informal" but "traditional" to some extent.
Ceremony AND reception are both outdoors, taking place at my parents farm in the orchard yard this Sept 29th. (so it'll tech be the fall season)

I wanted something that looked a little "country garden" type, but both comfy and well made for dancing, moving around, bending down to hug all the "little ones" that will be there, and that I don't have to worry about a "wardrobe malfunction!" LOL

I didn't want the train or jacket that comes on the bridal version, so I ordered the BM version shown in lavendar--only I ordered the ivory color, which is actually more "white" than the ivory appears in the pic.

(I'm trying to find some cute white wedge heels to go w/it so I don't sink in the grass!)

My fiance is going to wear a nice suit. Our colors are cranberry and ivory, so his suit w/be black and he's trying to decide on whether to go w/a solid cranberry tie, black tie or a tasteful "print" w/our colors?
HEY---any thoughts on that too while you're here??? ;-)
I'm leaning towards the solid cranberry tii. His boutineer will be an ivory rose w/small mini berry sprig. We're using alot of berry and grapevine, going for a natural "rustic" look.

...OH-when I say "country garden"...I don't mean haybail/cowboy/rodeo-type country...
but more like scenic/floral/old-american-english type garden....

I like the dress. It would be perfect for an outdoor fall ceremony and reception. Just make sure its not too tight on top or you will have an issue bending over to hug the little ones. lol
I think you should go with a solid cranberry tie also, It would look much more elegant. :)
as for the shoes, walmart had some on clearance that matched my dress perfect, but they were too tall for me, so check it out! :)
Congrats and good luck on your wedding day

All of what you are saying sounds beautiful. The dress you are wearing is not only classy, but simple and looks comfortable, so I agree good choice.

Your fiance should wear the cranberry colored tie, I think that it would blend nicely with the ivory colored flower and berries in his boutonniere.

As for your shoes, I would go online and see what they offer. the wedge heel seems to be going out of style and I don't really see them in alot of stores.

Good luck!

you will desire a length 10 anyhow.. they run small via approximately 2 sizes. in superb condition despite the fact that element of your physique is the toughest to get outfits on, and as a busty lady, it is often that for me too! with an hourglass parent, you are able to positioned on any.. and you're able to do those spectacular variety setting up ones, with the mermaid hems. in case you prefer to be somewhat extra discrete.. empire waists look spectacular on all.. and a geared up bodice with an entire skirt is classic, and can be present in any variety of designs. what related to the palms, are they very corporation? flow sleeveless in the event that they are and it is not a iciness or chilly climate wedding ceremony. looks such as you have the physique for that variety, and it is totally sensual! basically reason a gown is strapless, does not recommend exhibiting a lot of cleavage.. stay remote from sweetheart necklines in case you do no longer prefer to emphasise that. and plunging ones. there are various that are on the instant around the chest, and carry you in and corporation! no halters the two! bear in mind, beginning up clothing help a great take care of this, and that they have great heavy accountability ones at maximum bridal shops!

The dress is very appropriate for a 2nd wedding, but to be honest, I feel it is a little dowdy in style as you are considerably young in your thirties. If you did not order the gown, look further. Satin is too formal for a garden wedding. I envision silk charmuse, silk chiffon. I would have gone with something a little younger looking. Try dessy.com, jessicamcclintock.com, bestbridalprices.com, netbride.com, moncheriebridals.com. Groom should wear white boutineer.

I like the dress.. very good choice.. It gives me the feeling of country land.. Which is your setting.. Kudos.. It isnt difficult, very simple style with extrodinary beading..

as for his tie.. You dont want print b/c you want him to be the focal point not the tie.. I think a solid cranberry color would go wonderful with it..

I think the dress is absolutely gorgeous! If you want a good website to look for shoes, I highly recommend the one below. I found the exact pair of shoes online here for $30 less than what the stores were selling them for. They have free shipping and if you need to return the shoes for whatever reason, that's free too within 60 days! Good luck and congrats!!

I think that will look great with your setting. I have seen this dress a couple of times in the last few days and I would love to have the lavender one, but alas they don't have it in my size. I just love that dress. I'm the same as you, I don't care for the actual wedding dress and think the bridesmaid gown is much prettier.

That looks lovely! I believe the dress will do very well in your wedding. Also, the solid color tie might be best.

Best wishes to you!

Your chosen dress is absolutely amazing!!! It definitely looks right for your big day.

For your fiance - I would say go with the solid cranberry tie, probably better not to have anything to decorated.
