Criticize away.

'cause it's mine!

I try not to criticize other religions (though I will admit I did snicker when I read Scientology's "doctrine"). As a Christian I get enough of that. I'm just trying to learn more about other faiths right now so I can intelligently discuss them.

i guess wat you're saying is that people think of THEMSELVES and their feelings other than others...if that's what you're applying, i have to agree that it's kind of stupid.

In truth, I've thought of NOT caring about other religions until I saw the wars and the crimes because of this kind of way of thinking. So, I changed my ways...

Maybe we are affected by what people say about our religion...either bad or good. We don't know that much of other religions, as if they are aliens. We can't understand how they worship and all that jazz so it's hard for us to realize if we're giving them more pain or not.

I guess we just have to ask the RIGHTquestion instead of being all stupid and disrespectful...and I'm talking in GENERAL including myself.

They seem to think so. To prove it I could put all the hate email I get but I will be the better person.
But I can imagine the answers will be along the lines of "We are just doing what the Bible tell us too" "We can't critisize things aren't actually true" "Those people aren't 'real' Christians"

I criticize my religion.

But yes, I am planning to quit it.

Anyways, I try to keep my critical thinking always awake.

A good path is to state what is good, up-lifting, correct, accurate and true.
Don't blame or accuse.
The wise will listen and apply.

Isn't this kind of question the very reason why we have so much strife in the world to begin with?

I can say the same thing with racism. Why is it okay to say something about other races around you but I can't say something about your race. People should speak up and not let it happen.
