I know that spyware programs with things such as screen shot capturing has been installed on the computers at my job that are PC's - but I'm on a MAC. The computer guy here said he doesn't know macs well. I know that at home I can see what's installed by going to my start menu and seeing if it says new programs installed, etc. I'm better with pcs, but not very good with macs. How do I find out? I searched the applications but nothing looks new. There are so many hidden types of files/directories on this mac, how can I figure it out? Thank you!

The only source of mac screen viewing that I know of is Apple Remote Desktop or VNC. I would place my bets that the computer guy, if he really doesn't know much about Macs, would not know how to set either of these things up. If you want to be sure, use spotlight to search for VNC and also check in system preferences under the sharing tab to see if Apple Remote Desktop is checked.
