We are throwing our friend a bachelor party. He is not into the stripper thing, so we are going to a baseball game and then to a couple of bars in the area. We got group discount tix to the game.

Im really glad you asked this question because I was about to, see my buddy is getting married this sat and we just found out the best man is leaving for IRAQ today so all of the reservations he made for the party had to be cancelled because they require a valid state ID to rent the hall and he wont be there, so now the groom is looking to me for the Bachelor Party; here is my plan: Golf during the day (beer in cart); Transformers Movie (he loves comics), then hit a few bars, and we (the remaining groomsmen) have decided to play the strip club thing by ear (but it is likely, kind of a tradition that doesnt need to be broken you know...)... My best is advice is have fun but dont let him do anything he'll regret forever...
Also consider the Bride to be, like my fiance told me when it comes time for my bachelors party the rule is: No Hookers but strippers are okay (shes awesome like that); but a friend of mine was no told no women at all but as much alcohol as he could handle (so basically he had a second 21st birthday, and it was plenty of fun...).... There you go good luck and let me know what you think of my plans... crazyskilz87@yahoo.com

First determine how much you are willing to pay. Almost universally, all attendees will split the costs evenly and the groom will not pay a dime. While costs will vary greatly depending on the activities planned and the amount of people, expect that when transportation, drinks, rental/reservation fees and entertainment are tallied, each person could typically be out $100-$300. To make sure that everyone's clear on this, when you call people to invite them or send out the invites, give them a rough idea of how much they'll be expected to front.

If your friend is a sports nut, it might be a nice idea to rent out a private box at a stadium event. If he likes to gamble, organize a field trip to a casino (depending on how much you want to spend, Las Vegas is a popular bachelor party spot).
Participate in a physical activity such as white-water rafting or paintball. After the activity, have beer.If your pal is a low-key type, consider getting a private room in a restaurant or even someone's own house. or a strip club/bar.

A great idea for a bachelor party is the track...go see the horses or the dogs, the food is pretty good, and the money is easy, because everyone brings their own. A couple of you might pitch in and buy the future groom some bets and some beverages. It's a very guy thing to do!!

First of all, make sure you plan something that the groom will actually enjoy. A lot of guys DON'T want the stripper thing and/or getting sh!tfaced drunk. Going to a nice restaurant, ballgame, camping/fishing, an all-nighter poker game, BBQ, etc., can be very enjoyable and not very expensive. If the groom is really your friend, you will do something he will appreciate, enjoy and never forget and isn't that the whole point of a bachelor party???. When I got married, I insisted to my "friends" that I did NOT want the stripper thing. But they did it anyway, and I did not enjoy it. My brothers, on the other hand, took me to my favorite steakhouse that had world-class live jazz, and I loved it. Of course, if the guy wants the stripper thing, then go for it. Who knows, you all may wind up getting laid. I have heard about that happening!!!

Lots of beer, a deck of cards, pizza and hot wings, and some good tunes (maybe plan it around a good game on TV). After a few beers someone will think of something entertaining to do with the cards, and than someone will say "damn, I'm hungry", so that's where the pizza and wings will come in. When you hear "hey, turn that up. I love that song!" in a slurred drunken voice, then you'll know you did a good a job. As long as the beer is flowin, the party will keep on goin (that is until everyone passes out). Enjoy and remember...Friends don't let friends drive drunk ;-).

A golf course will often allow people to have a bachelor party there. We had a major blast and it included many fun mini-games/challenges.

Also a group baseball (sporting event) outing isn't a bad idea either.

Paintballing is also a fun time.

In either case ask some of the guests to chip in for their part a head of time.

You have to do something with the boys to get the testosterone flowing earlier in the day. Get that competitive edge out of your system earlier in the day, and drink from the second you wake up! (have a DD planned ahead of time, don't get a DUI before your wedding) Play some poker, play some sports, golf, fishing or whatever you guys like to do together. But you MUST have some naked women in the night. A good idea is to hire up a stripper or two to come out to the house and be your bartenders while you play poker-those are always fun! The point of the bachelor party is that it is your "last" night unmarried out with the guys, you have to push the boundaries a little bit.

You can go to any party store and most of them will have books about cheap and fun ideas of what you can do. A really good store is spencers which can be found at most big malls. Not only can you find books there but also decarations and hats that are pretty funny yet sexual for the bachelor to wear. They also have awsome gag gifts for newly weds. I love that store!

A good cheap bachelor party is at a bar or you could just play football or basketball at your house or at the park.

Okay so some guys go for the stripper thing. If your buddy doesn't then I say Video Arcade. There are places like Gameworks (www.gameworks.com ) that have good dinners and offer party packages. I didn't mean like chuck e cheese but a good burger and games place. Trust me he will not be available to go gaming for quite some time. You can also see if there are any Vegas gaming companies near you. They provide the table and the dealers you pay them a minimum amount and the house ( being you) takes the difference. All you need is food and beer. Also check with the local moose club and vfw they usually have the facilities and tables and dealers at a low cost if you make a donation to their organization.
