For years, I've been in this cycle of growing my hair then chopping it short in a kind of punk pixie cut. My hair has reached a point where it's past my shoulders and gorgeous but lately I've been itching to cut my hair again. I know I look cute with short hair and I'm certainly not unattractive with long hair but a part of me thinks it's such a waste to go through the trouble of growing my hair out only to cut it again. Thoughts?

It's great suggestion to donate my hair and I did when i was younger. But, I'm also prone to dying my hair so unfortunately I cannot donate it because it's not virgin hair. Otherwise, I would totally do something like that.

I do the same thing. And when it's long, I'm constantly putting it up. I LOVE short hair. I see girls keeping their hair long, when it's all dead at the ends and dry looking, just for the sake of having long hair. Most of the time, when I see long hair, I think to myself CUT THAT STUFF! If you have a great face, short hair's better.

Since you feel like it's a waste to grow it out just to get it cut again, why not donate it each time you get it cut? Then you'll feel better knowing you did it for charity and it won't seem like such a waste. Hope this helps!

I personally prefer longer hair to shorter hair, and if you took the time to grow it out then maybe you should let it be for a while, but then again, you seem to prefer short hair so who knows.

I would cut it to the length I feel like having it now. You can grow it back (its not like you can stop it from growing). If you do cut it, try to donate it to one of those places that makes wigs for people who need them (People who lost their hair do to chemotherapy and other things).
