I think it would be alright. Why don't you talk to your school? If you are under 18 it may pose some problems. You may need your parents to press the charges. I suggest being careful of retribution from the individual in question. She may seek revenge seeing how crazy she sounds. Or, on the other hand, it could show that you are serious and it will scare her. I suggest seeking a solution through school first; and if that gets you no where press charges. The court can order harassment and give her a restraining order-if she violates that she will get jailed! I say go for it! People tend to shape up when there are real consequences.

Be careful. If you've done nothing to her, but she keeps attacking you, she's looking for someone to blame for her situation, whatever that may be. If you give her the attention she desires, you may make the problem worse. Try to avoid her, if she comes up to you, walk away. If she attacks you anyway, you'll have to tell the principal. Do NOT over react because it sounds like this person is more than a little off kilter and they might use "any" action you take as a reason to escalate the violence. This person has issues, don't let her get you tangled up in her sad little world. Walk away.

You can press charges. The most that would probably happen is that you could get a restraining order and the other person could get probation/supervision. Going this far may or may not make the other person treat you worse. It seems like its bad now, but one day you will grow above this. . .I'm sure you've heard it before and it doesn't help you now.
Good Luck to you!

Press charges against her for assault (the threats) and battery (for attacking) and if you want.. throw in some harassment.. go to the police station and to your principal and let them know you want to press charges and they will more than likely send her to court with you and they'll issue a restraining order and she wont be able to be atleast 100yds next to you. and she may be fined..
that should do the trick..and bring your friend for a witness
let them know that its really bothering you and she needs to knock it off..

It is easy to press assault charges against the woman, as well as filing a restraining order.
This not only protects you, but it starts a file against this woman. Any further action that she does, you can easily call the cops, reference the file number, and they will see she is a repeat offender.
Be safe, and try to stay in groups if possible, that way she won't attack you

The school will probably be able to punish her more than the police. In the case of minors... especially when it comes to a misdemeanor like assault, the district attorney is not luckily to do much unless you or your friend have been seriously injured. Most schools have school resource police officers. Talk to them and they could give you additional information. I know some crimes, assault being one of them are punished more strictly if they occur on school grounds so that may be an avenue you want to pursue. Good luck...

I suggest letting your parents and school officials know what is going on. I would also recommend taking a self defense class. I had a similar problem when I was in school. I got involved in martial arts and took care of the problem myself because I had the confidence, thanks to martial arts. Not only will martial arts teach you how to deal with the problem it will also get you in the best shape you have been in and give you more self confidence. Good luck and if need be, kick her ***.

wether it is physical or mental abuse you definitely need to take a stand. if she is unapproachable as to trying to resolve the problem, whatever it may be, between the 2 of you yourselves then i would check into having a restraining order brought against her then let her know that if she does not stop her activities you will have her arrested. it's not smart or safe to try to handle a plain old bully by yourself because if they don't back down it could become much worse for you. good luck!

If you were physically attacked, you should press charges. This is not going to get better any time soon.

Laws are different in every state. In Iowa, she would be charged with Assault, or Assault Causing Injury. A person can be charged with Assault for Threatening you with physical harm. You could also get a restraining order.
