I have DSL and my telephone line is connected to my computer. Is there any free software that will allow me to record telephone conversations to my computer.

In the State in which I live only one person in a telephone conversation needs to be aware that a conversation is being recorded to make it legal. My ex has a boyfriend that has been harassing me and I want a recorded record of every conversation that he chooses to make to my home phone. Does anyone have any ideas on how I might cost effectively accomplish this?

Try downloads. com - I doubt you will find anything useful under freware programs - no incentive, most programers want to eventually get paid for their work. You may have better luck under shareware, just check for a price you can afford.

I used to have a copy of a program called "Bitware". As it is quite old now (more than 10 years) you might find it for free if you do a Yahoo Search for "Bitware+Freeware". I hope you find it as not only can you record hours of full conversations, you can also log all your incoming and outgoing calls, send and receive faxes from your PC, store virtually unlimited contact databases, speeddial, have hundreds of "VoiceMail" boxes and have hundreds of line extensions on your PC. Good Luck, I hope you can find it!
