If your vet said she'll be fine then trust your vet or take her to another vet for a second opinion.

What actually happened? Why do you feel responsible? I'm sure her injury wasn't done on purpose. If the vet said she would be fine - then she should be. Make sure you give Molly whatever medicine she should have and just let her relax. You could also go get a 2nd opinion from another vet or call the vet up you already saw and ask what you can do to help with the pain. My dog hurt his back - I know how you feel. I felt responsible because I let him jump on furniture & run up and down the stairs. Since his injury (and he got better with med and helaing time), I won't let him jump around as much.

if the vet says she's fine I'm sure it will be fine... realize that if she was injured she could have a bruise... when you have a bruise it hurts for a little while...you can make her more comfortable by putting her in a kennel, Talk to the vet about pain killer (something mild), and don't touch her to much... if she is in pain you may be touching the painful spot and that makes it hurt more.

Why do you feel responsible? Let me tell you, accidents
happen and I won't go into my whole story. I lost a pet
due to a freaky accident. I used to blame myself but
after going to a therapist, I realize accidents happen
sometimes. After she passed, she would come
around, I would see her for a few seconds and
sometimes I would feel her lick my feet like she
used to. I saw her in my dreams and I was holding
her and she was licking my face. It told me she
loved me and didn't think it was my fault. Your dog
is still here. If you don't trust that Veterinarian,
take her to another or take her back to the same one
since she is still in pain and you are worried.
Best Wishes.

Trust your vet. If the vet says she's going to be fine, he has no reason to lie to you.
Just make your dog comfy until she heals up.

Well, take good care of her while she recovers and vow to be a careful doggie mom and make certain she stays as safe as possible in the future. Accidents happen, to human children too, so learn and just be careful in the future.
