How many feel this behaviour is likely to reflect on Christians in general, or at least, the perception of them?

A typical Christian fundamentalist. At least they weren't blowing people up like the Muslims, or shooting people like the anti-abortionists.

Well, it certainly can't help. Many already think that Christians are intolerant nutjobs, who believe all other religions are wrong except for theirs.

Behavior like this just seems to prove these beliefs as being correct. This behavior by these Christians during this prayer, was despicable.

And yes, I believe it does reflect upon all Christians, even the sane ones.

They are so nasty, so intolerant. #1. There shouldn't be a prayer to begin with. But, the fact that a Hindu was reciting it is what set them off? What the hell's the problem with that??? George W. says crap about the christain god all the time, and that's ok? This is America!!! There's Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, Muslims and every other religion here! What a disgrace!!!!

How infuriating! I'm a non-believer in any particular religion so that angers me that ANY religious ceremony is part of a government function!
BTW, their are zealots in every religion. The behavior of a few shouldn't reflect on a group as a whole. Thankfully, those types are in the minority now.

First, I don't know those people. I have their word that they are christians.... I don't know if they were. Considering how heckeling has turned political, they could have been a bunch of athesits that SAID they were christians so you guys could beat your chest.

I don't know, but I don't have a problem with anyone who peacefully stands up for what they believe in.

In India, they are pulling Christians out of houses and beating them, shutting their businesses down and what not.

The same way I feel about Fred Phelps picketing soldier's funerals....they are an embarrassment to be sure.

There are idiots in all religions. T'was ever thus.

Well, not all of them, but yes, it does show ignorance and intolerance among some. This is America where we have freedom of and religion and too many wear blinders.

Knew it was going to happen. There are millions of people like that in the USA - they just aren't always as verbal about it. *sigh*

It should be embarrassing.... but in a predominantly Christian country.... we'll have to see how much play that clip gets.

Peace and blessings,

As a Christian, I'd say they should've been using their time better.
