Ok, I believe when God was handing out breast, I was either sleeping or didn't get the memo..lol. But seriously, I compete in an industry (fitness) where probably 95% of the women are either blesssed or bought them. I try on so many cute clothes and realize that they would look so much better if I could just fill them out better. But I worry about the downfalls of implants. The one I worry about the most is having to get them re-done every 10 years. What is your opinion about breast implants?

It really is an individual decision that only you can choose but meeting and discussing this with a Plastic Surgeon would not be such a bad idea. At least you will get all the pros and cons etc, etc. It is surgery, not major surgery, and so like all others the biggest risk is the anaesthetic- with implants you are only in surgery for 45 mins to 1 hour max so the risks are minimilised. My employer and friends of mine have had implants done and they all look fantastic. None of them went to a huge size so they still look natural.
For example my employer was 21 when she had hers done and didn't fill a size 30A. Since her op she is now a 30C which suits her perfectly and many people do not even know that she has them done. I a probably a bit biased to this question as I have had plastic surgery also- mine was for medical reasons but also vanity- I look fantastic now. I did not even know that I had body concerns until realising how great I look and feel now. If it is something that you want to do then save your money and go for it :)

**Not everyone has to have them done every 10 years. I have 12 clients ( I'm a Beauty Therapist) who are in their 40's - 50's, had their implants done 20 or 30 years ago and have not had them redone since, and they still look great.

I suggest that you don't. Most of the implants that I've seen have done nothing more than take away from the natural beauty of the women who have them. Even the guys who act like large breasts are the greatest things in the world, typically don't want them for their significant others. That's because fakes are usually obvious and become the focal point. The woman is often no longer looked at as a whole, complete person.

Aside from that, there are always health risks. Why take risks to do something that ultimately detracts from your natural attractiveness.

Well... I'd consider myself reasonably well endowed and let me tell you, big boobs aren't really all that great. You said you were a fitness professional... In that case I'd advise you to definitely not go in for implants. I have trouble jumping rope or jogging cos my boobs get in the way. It's not worth the trouble to just fill out your clothes better. My advise would be to buy padded bras or somethin like that. When they get uncomfortable, you can just take them off... And since you seem to have reservations about it yourself, at the very least I suggest you think about it long and hard...

I would never ever get breast implants ( my breasts are 32 AA, yeah that's how small they are ) . Something terribly wrong may happen, your breasts may get infected and maybe the process of getting them is very painful. Also, you'll be spending thousands of dollars. We live in a society where many woman think that big breasts are the best thing ever. I just call that vanity insanity. My only vanity thing is my smile, and I just got braces to make them straight, so they can look better and I can smile without feeling self- conscious.

I didn't get the memo either girl! but at the same time its something that you learn to live with. I chose not to go through drastic measures just to "fill out my clothes". Its alot cheaper to find clothes that enhance other parts of your body. I have great legs and a nice stomach, so I try to flaunt those more than the area where my boobs are supposed to be. And trust me- most of the time girls with bigs ones, really don't want them all the time. Everytime one of my sisters makes a joke about my chest, I just say, "That may be true, but you hate me in the summer because I don't HAVE to wear a bra". and they shut up.

i have kind of mixed feelings about them. i generally think natural looks better. i don't know how smart it is for a woman having a potentially harmful foriegn substance implanted in her body unless it's medically nessecary. from what i've heard, it's pretty painful and takes several weeks of recovery. but i could understand how a flat-chested or small-busted woman might feel inadequate, insecure and unsexy if she doesn't have curves or overflowing cleavage.

my girlfriend is about to get them. she's a 34B which isn't huge, but not completely flat and is going up to a C. i like her breasts, they're still very perky even at 37 after having a kid. she's got an incredible body i think is perfect the way it is and i've always preferred smaller breasts on women. i love playing with her breasts and i've never given her a reason to think she was anything less than the sexiest woman imaginable to me. but i guess in her head, she's not curvy or womanly enough. i told her i think she's very sexy but i want her to be happy and feel good about herself. i'm gonna love and support her no matter what. i asked her if she would pose for me to take before & after pictures, so i can at least have a memory of what they looked like.

Everyone's opinion on this is going to be different, but I would say, weigh the benefits. If it will make you feel better about yourself, and you know and accept all of the risks that come with implantation, then go ahead, be happy. But if you are only doing it because the girl on the treadmill next to you is getting all of the attention because of her "bouncing" then I would say no...

I personally am one of the "blessed" although most mornings my back argues with me about that. I've actually considered having mine downsized so that my back doesn't give out on me before I'm 30....
