I am a European Union passport holder who worked in the UK for several months and I would like to now get my tax back. I did it a few years ago but I have forgotten what form I should fill in.
Can anyone solve this puzzle?

Download a form P85 from http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/cnr/p85_p85s.htm.

Attach parts 2 & 3 of the P45 given to you from your last UK employer and send this to their PAYE tax office. Your employer will be able to provide an address, or you can look it up on the hmrc website. There will be a 3 digit office number on your P45, type that into the box on the link http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/local/individuals/index.htm

They will review your year of departure and if you have overpaid, they will issue a refund.

Try this:

The inland revenue is now VERY internet based - very quick and easy!
