Aloe and cortizone for the skin will help.

However, bad sunburns can be *very* bad.

They are called "burns" for a reason, and follow the same scale of seriousness as a "traditional" burn, and can generally be treated the same.

If she blisters, DO NOT POP THEM!

In any case, if this is an all-over burn (more than 60% of her body), it is best to see a physician as soon as possible.

Try a cool (not cold) bath and some aloe vera gel...get her drunk and let her sleep...ok, well, maybe something to help her sleep through the next day or two...call a doc if its really bad, he could help with meds too, if it's bad enough...Good luck!

there are some gels or lotions that are avalible at a pharmacy or drugstore that may help as well as some herbal remedies. Also, I always use ice in a bag on my neck, and that seems to work for me.

I would call a doctor...make sure she doesn't have sun poisoning....I've had it...I got a low grade fever...is her skin swollen???...you can also call a pharmacy...they can recommend something too....

good luck :)
