If it were a brown recluse you would know it, by the immediate damage it has caused. The skin will immediately start to decompose moving outward from the bite. It will first appear read, blue black. They are known as brown recluse for a reason. They do not like to come out much. They hide and are only disturbed when things are moved around. They live in the dark and prefer it. How do you know it was a spider, did you see it and was it brown. I doubt it was a brown recluse. Many, most all people are bit by spiders as they sleep. It is not unusual. Again, most spiders are poisonous and their bites will hurt. Some are way more poisonous then others. Keep an eye on the wound and should it develop into something worse immediately seek medical attention. If you are overly concerned then go to an urgent care center now. Some people do get an allergic reaction or develop an infection from spider bites.

The only spider bites that are potentially harmful to humans (unless you are allergic to spider bites) are brown recluse and black widow spider bites. If you suspect that you were bit by either of these spiders (both have really fat bodies, and the itchiness from the bites is extremely severe) you should see a doctor as soon as possible. If you know it was a harmless spider (skinny body, daddy long legs, little tiny spider with a skinny body), then you can just take some Benadryl and put hydrocortisone or Benadryl cream on the bite to keep from scratching it, and don't itch it.
Be thankful you are not allergic to spider bites. Got bit by a black widow recently, was on Keflex, Prednisone, Bactrim, and Benadryl because the allergic reaction was so bad from it.

Yes. All spiders are poisonous. Venom is how they digest their food. But only a small few are harmful to humans. If you live in the United States, you only have to worry if the spider was a black widow or brown recluse, or if you have an allergy to spiders. Otherwise, most spiders will just give you a pump, not too unlike a mosquito bite.

Are all spider bites poisonous?
Yes.
Do you need to worry about (most) spider bites?
No. (Unless allergic.)
Even if the spider bite were a tarantula, a healthy adult human can "easily" survive the toxin...although you would likely *want* to die, you would probably survive. (It's amasing what you can pick-up watching nature shows;) )

No not all spider bites are poisonous! If you don't have any pimples, blisters, irritation, or swelling, I would not be concerned about it. If you want to be sure make an appointment with your doctor.

There's no way we can know if it's poisonous or not. It's most likely not.
