Mark 10:17 And as he was going out on his way, a certain man ran up and fell upon his knees before him and put the question to him: “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit everlasting life?” 18 Jesus said to him: “Why do you call me good? Nobody is good, except one, God."

Technically, all the children (including Seth) were 'evil' because of Adam and Eve's sin. But more to the point, the Children of Seth were also disobeying their parents by marrying the Children of Cain, thereby adding to their wickedness.

this is because G_d had blessed adam and eve in the early chapters of the Bible to produce children in your likeness, so after the birth of cain and abel it was more of wicken nature that was coming into form so even in the case of cain and seth's generation the wicked ness grew more as genetical cause that wicker cells of the body were godly and strong cells were of the wiked.and as it says in Romans 6:23on it is sin florishing more because his earth is the abode of the satan and we are more colser to the evil then spiritul.

It's always easier to slide downhill than to climb uphill. This is common theme thoughout the Bible: people are saved by God, but then they forget and their children forget and do wicked things, until only a very small number of people are left who worship God, the people them face a trial or judgement, then God raises up a leader or prophet to save the people, but the people only remember and worship God for only a short time before they slide back into wickedness. The story you reference is just the first example of this, culminating in Noah and his family being the only righteous people left, and the judgement of the flood.
Lest you think it is limited to the Bible, this pattern is continues in more recent history and up to today. For example, when the Catholic Church reached its full measure of its idolatry and abusive practices, God raised up Gutenburg to invent the printing press, and scores of Bible translaters and reformers, and the protestant reformation occured, resulting in many people coming to God.
