Rukmini is worshipped as a goddess in India. Infact Rukmini is supposed to be the incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi. There are temples for Rukmini in different parts of India whereas we don't find temples for Sita or Radha separately.
Rukmini Devi Temple in Dwaraka
This small temple, 1.5km north of town, is an architectural masterpiece. Rukmini is the most important of Krishna's 16,108 wives. The temple walls are decorated with beautiful paintings depicting her pastimes with Krishna. This temple is said to date back to the 12th century.
The story behind this temple is that one day, Durvasa Muni, who is easily angered, was invited by Lord Krishna and his wife, Rukmini, to dinner. When a person is invited to dinner, etiquette dictates that the host should not eat until the guest has been satisfied. On the way to dinner, Rukmini became thirsty and asked Krishna for help. Krishna then put his foot in the ground and the Ganges waters flowed forth from the earth while Durvasa was not looking. As Rukmini was drinking the water, however, Durvasa turned and saw her drinking without his permission. He became angry and cursed her to live apart from Lord Krishna. That is why Krishna's temple is in the town and hers is located outside the town.
Rajagopala Temple at Mannargudi near Thanjavur
The sanctum of this vast temple enshrines a 7 feet high image of Vaasudeva with his consorts Sri Devi and Bhoodevi, and the festival images of Sree Vidya Rajagopala, his consorts Rukmini and Satyabhama
Vithal Rukmini Temple, Pandharpur --where Vishnu along with Rukmini is worshipped.
The Rukmini temple here is believed to be 1600 years old. The Gomati Sangamam where the river Gomti reaches the sea is located close by. A little north of Dwarka, one can ferry across to Bet - Dwarka island where Krishna killed the demon Shankhasura.
There are shrines to Rukmini, Trivikrama, Devaki, Jambavati, Lakshmi Narayan and other deities here. There is another temple to Rukmini, believed to be the site of Krishna's marriage with her.Archeological excavations have revealed five earlier cities here, all submerged now.
The episode of Rukmini Kalyanam ( marrige of Rukmini to Krishna is a popular theme for narration.Rukmini worships goddess Gowri before she is carried away by Krishna as per previous arrangement. The sloka she recites at that time is recited by unmarried girls intending to get a suitable groom. So Rukmini is quite popular in indian context.

Rukmini was very devoted to him and did not do any great things but Radha did by fighting for Krishna. As You have mentioned since she is the Avatar of Lakshmi people worship Lakshmi instead of Radha or Rukmini. Frankly speaking even Sita is not worshiped anywhere. Only Rama is worshiped. Same is the case with Balaram. May be very rarely some people worship these people. Already Hindus have a large number of Gods and Goddess even though Hindu philasophy says that we have only a single God. Even in Bagavat geeta krishna says the same that He is all. Space here is not sufficient to explain all.

The mahabharata is an epic. The historical facts today have got mixed with mythology of the puranas that is why there are so many contradictions and confusion. Vedavyasa composed the epic in 4400 verses his pupils added some 6000 verses and thus there were some 10000 verses in the original text buttoday we have 100000 verses. This shows that there has been many additions during a long period of time. The concept of avatara is a Vaishnava idea and later it was interwoven in the stories of mahabharata. Avatara is a false concept because god does not incarnate. Ram krishna rukmini sita all were humanbeings. They were born, lived and died. Most of the stories about them are fictitious particularly those related to avatara. Radha never existed. So do not get confused read the Upanishads, the darshanas and do not waste your time about these stories. some even say that in the story of ramayana hanuman is the incarnation of shiva and his tail is parvati. Its all bluff. Read LIGHT OF TRUTH.

Rukimini is worshipped as Goddess in Maharashtra - Vithal Rukmini . She is considered as Goddess Status.
But as we say that those who struggle more there are more stories about them.
In her previous incarnation Rukimini was Sita who had suffered more when she went along with her husband God Ram to exile. Even she was herself exiled later on the false charges on her modesty.
In this incarnation Rukmini did not had to struggle more.
She led luxury life as a princess and queen.
Hence not more is known about her except her elopement with her lover and later husband Shree Krishna.

Who know the reality don't believe that Shri Krishna was God. as he was a great soul and was not God and there was nothing relation between krishna and Radha it is a evil which created by some Ponga Pandits and should not be trust. However Shri Krishna was a great empror and Rukmini was his Maharani which should honoured by all of us. it is a good question asked but the thinking should be positive that the blind faith may be kill and the true picture should be shown by everyone about any past things or stories

Hey, I'm with you. I believe that Rukmini is one of the very best. I know that you'll never believe that I never talk about Krishna, or those other guys. Rukmini is the one for me. How could anyone be so darn pretty and intelligent ? Too bad she's married to that krishna guy. I wonder if he appreciates her as much as he should.

Rukmani's relationship with Krishna is MATERIALISTIC & She bears a baby of krishna. (2) Rukmani was kidnapped by Sisubala , from whom Krishna saved her & married rukmani.Because she is a KARMA YOGI & wife, the goddess status is not given.
