Well considering there is an invisible battle going on between Good and Evil.... there will never be a nicey nice world. Truth be told... we don't live in perfect .... YET
but we can if we believe in the son's absolution of sin on the cross. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved!

Notice that there isn't open warfare between Christ-based religions? Which type of religion has the most and varied missions and charities around the world? Which type of religion is under attack all the time? I think that Christ-based religions are doing a herculean task and are being thwarted by the old foe, just going under the name of other religions, that have only their hatred of Christ in common. It would be great if the others in the world were more tolerant-amen! to that-but the devil is implacable.

Its because catholics are leading and shaping religion, smartassing on what to do and what to believe. Other christian sects have batter and more sensible ideas on matters but the catholic thinks they are God's "chosen people". The catholics are the reason why people has so much misunderstanding and hate for God. Pope John Paul ws nice but still the Vatican is smartassing religion.
And the only time we will reach that nice peaceful world withouth chaos-stuff is when we die... in heaven. this world is much of a dump to become the kingdom of God.

Religion shouldn't be based on making the world a better place. Religion needs to be based on pleasing God. And one way is making the world a better place

There are 2 varieties of religions:- printed and human given. All printed religions :- truly, the Abrahamic ones, have been the motives of conflict and have pronounced scuffling with. Even Shri Krishna interior the Bhagavad Gita advises Arjuna to absorb the bow (on the battlefield). i do no longer count variety Christianity and the instructions of Jesus Christ as one and the comparable. There are 2 adult adult males given religions. Jainism and Buddhism. the two have pronounced non violence and peace. comprehensive non violence. definite, non violence is the main noble of all of them. Like, what Jesus has reported, grant the different cheek. And understand that, purely the courageous can forgive. in case you're wronged against via violence, it ability which you have had thousands of battles interior your self as a fashion to no longer react violently and to grant the different cheek is the final act of bravery. you will desire to combat your guy or woman habit/nature as a fashion to no longer react. once you do no longer react violently, meaning you have conquered your inner evil habit of reacting. Gandhiji, the apostle of peace, has shown us how without a single bloodshed, a victory would be had against a potent empire. Gandhiji learnt the innovations of non violence from Jainism.

you mentioned religion and spirituality in the same sentence as if they are the same thing. They aren't. Man created religion and so religion is hobbled by Man's shortcomings. Over the millenia (going way back before the written word) Man has used religion to control other people.
You would do well to pay more attention to your own spirituality and forget what other men try to tell you it means.

Religion should be based on what Allah wants, what he thinks is right or wrong, what He wants us to do with our lives, not "Making the world a better place" in our opinions. What makes you think you know better than the Creator of All Things?

In the past religion, war, and politics go hand in hand, so no. But then again were not living in the past, but politics and religion seem to make people more ignorant, even today.

Sadly that is the basis of most religions. I'm a christian and it seems pretty clear to me that Jesus spoke out against any kind of violence.
