No, I also do not have a phobia of tiny torn up pieces of paper being stuck on me........I know someone who does though.......

I'd like to know, if somebody does:
a) Why, apart from the fact lots of people say it's unlucky, they think it's unlucky.
b) If they have any empirical evidence to suggest there is anything "unlucky" about the number 13.
c) If they can quantify "luck", or distinguish it from chance in some way

Not really... I actually have better luck on Friday the 13th. I may have to head to the OTB today and bet on a couple horses...

Nope. Although my mother did die on Friday, September the 13th 1996. What a strange day, too. But "fear"?? - nah.

Not at all! I met my hubby on a Friday the 13th, so I consider it a very lucky day. Hope he does too!

And it doesn't phase me when it falls on a Friday either.
