1. Control Panel
2. Printers and Hardware
3. Click on Mouse
4. Make corrections

Otherwise:

1. Start, My Computer
2. Tools, Folder Options
3. Adjust Mouse to open on one click

Go to Folder Options, the General tab, and at the bottom "Click items as follows", select Single-click to open an item.
