It was disgraceful.

They want their religion taught everywhere but can't stand the thought of someone with a different religion even saying a prayer.

They should call their organization the American Bigot Association.

None of them should be praying in the senate, but there's no particular reason why the Christian's faith and prayers would outweigh the Hindu ones. It's, really, just plain stupid.

I would tedn to agree with the poster who mentioned that Freedom of Religion is Acceptable ONLY as long as it's Fundamentalist Christianity that is allowed to be free to express itself. THOSE folks need to remember that THEIR intolerance was directly in FRONT of those who pass and enact the LAWS of our Nation. Those laws are intended for ALL of the Nation and NOT just for a select few. Their intolerance for other Religions infers their permission to memebers of OTHER Religions to be be intolerant of THEIR Relgion. They SHAME every Christian in the U.S. by their actions and expose them for what they TRULY are. Religious Bigots.

i must have missed that one, what happened? fill me in, kay?

okay, i read an article about them, if they are the ones that disrupted the hindu prayer, they are awful. the author of the article i read made a good point in saying that fundamentalists are very much in favor of more religion in the public sphere, but it's apparent that that only applies to their religion.
