Does anyone know how long car accidents stay on your record in Massachusetts?

I had an accident on 1/26/02, I was at fault. It will have been 6 years ago on 1/26/08. My insurance is high because of it. If anyone knows, please let me know. Thanks.

i'm pretty sure it's 6 years, but you could try going to the MA DMV website (probably easier than calling them!)
