i noticed that when i used either of the two it becomes slow and i noticed also that some sites that i opened will automatically closed the browser

It should be OK to run both at the same time as they are two completely different programs. Obviously your PC will go slower because you have another major process running. Browsers use up a lot of resources so it is not advisable to run both at once. There should not be a conflict if both programs run at once.

u must stick to one of the browsers.but theres no probs when u use two them.u net getting slow depends upon net speed ,not with browsers.

It's not a problem to use both browsers, I do that often and have not encountered a problem yet.

I use both as well. One may have plugins that the other doesn't. And some websites just work better on one than the other.

it's fine to use both..

maybe the problem is with the pc instead?

memory would be the more the issue, if your running less than 512mb on xp it will be slow

i don't think it's a problem i use IE and firefox but i have also safari for win
