I was born in a catholic home and went to a catholic school, However i always realised that all of those stories in the bible could not possibly be true example, Adam and Eve, Noah etc etc. I also realised that Jusus Christ was nothing more than a great revolutionary defying Roman domination. My question is:
Do you really believe, honestly now, that mankind began with just two people? That Noah built an ark etc.? That a virgin gave birth to a baby? Seriously, do you take thiese things literally?

Whether or not you believe in them is up to the individual. If you believe in God then nothing else matters. Some people have never read the Bible (including me) but still believe in God The Bible was written by people as an account of what happened 2,000 years ago and before and as such has many different variations of what happened and should not be taken word for word as fact. That is my opinion only and i could be wrong but as i say my belief has not changed,.

Yes, I do. Your lack of faith does nothing to invalidate my faith. You see, I was also born in a Catholic home and went to Catholic school through 9th grade. I learned of the grace of God through faith in Christ just before my senior year of high school. That was 37 years ago. God is faithful!

Absolutely I believe that all happened. Of course a non-believer will disagree, because it's beyond their comprehension. That's the point: It takes faith to believe.

1 Corinthians 2:14 -- The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Did hundreds or thousands of humans just pop out of the big bang? Did hundreds, or even more than one human evolve at the same instant? Not so hard to believe...and yes I take them pretty literally...

Yes. I believe that God is very powerful and he knows what'll happen so he created Adam and Eve and he wanted people to fill up the Earth.

Either it's all metaphors or it's all real. You can't cherrypick what you think is real or not. Okay, so an old man loading every species of animal onto a giant boat is a metaphor. But an invisible man in the clouds who watches everything you do is somehow real?

I accept the Bible as true. For example, science is looking at genetics, and it points to one man and one woman.

Nothing is impossible for God. And yes the bible is 100% true, and if you do not believe it, then that is your choice. Everybody has choices.
