Do homeless people care if their socks match? Are there fashion conscious hobos out there?

I didn't want to use the word "hobo"...just that I was running out of characters to use for the question...lol

I am homeless and yes I care if my socks match. However at the moment I'm less concerned with them and more with the tennis shoes that have fallen apart. My only other option is the dress shoes I reserve for job interviews and I don't want to scuff them up. So yes, I guess you could say I'm fashion conscious.

I have been homeless before and yes, I cared whether or not my socks matched. I also cared where my children and I would sleep because their father threw us out of the house with nothing. In fact, I cared that my children's shoes and clothes were clean. I cared about what people thought. I now own one acre with a house on it because I cared not to pay rent anymore. With a $350.00 monthly property/house payment that will end in March of 2015 I think I did pretty good, don't you?

oh yes socks are a determining factor on the social status of the homeless. i often wonder if most homeless are British with the brown teeth and all.

Considering homelessness is a serious problem today in a lot of countries than it has previously been, I do not see this as funny in any way.

They probably care as much as my 5 year old granddaughter. Most homless people are not hobos, by the way...

homeless people have no home....they are grateful for shelter and food......no....i don't think that they are thinking about their socks...or lack of them.
