How likely is it that one will divorice? How long will a man suffer in a unfullfilling marriage for the sake of the children? Or his extended family? Is divorice something that brings shame on a family?

second marriages are not the law of the land in the US......... He feels that those that enter into second marriages have a sort of arrogance.
His wife would not like it if he were to take on a second wife (if it were allowed here).
But we both know we would be excellent to each other and for each other. A most excellent match!

I have a muslim friend who was divorced because her husband denounced her three times...its as easy as that.
I dont know abt the middle eastern countries, but i do know in southeast asia,divorce between muslims is very common and ive known alot of people who have gone through 2-3 divorces by the time they reach 25.I've also known a couple who remarried after divorcing twice.

Divorce is permitted but if their is a trouble in Marraige Islam gives enough rights a to a man and a woman to make it work through ... A mans duty is to keep his wife Happy and a wifes duty is to keep her Husband like wise ... and respect and honour each other if one follows rules in Islam Divorce wouldnt happen and their is no chance a marriage will not survive ... unfullfilled sex life is no excuse ... Islam is very open about fulling physical need of each other and one should make sure they aer doing that with in the limits of Islam ...
and it does not bring shame ...

divorce is something that is not recomendable in islam b ut u can get a divorce if u cant live with that other person no matter what but it s always best to forget and forgive the chapter of divorce i s very big and u need to go to some site to find out but i would think that it would depend more on the kind of society your living in
is divorce a common thing or not a common thing divorce is something not restricted in religon but no religon which is good would tell you to divorce without a realy really good reason accept hinduism
cuz inthat religon divorce is not allowed because they do not know that sometimes divorce is the only soloution but a intersting question i have to ask if divorce is forbidden in hinduism and they say that hinduism is right so why do many and many hindus get divorced

Islamic divorce has 3 levels, if a man declares divorce of the 3rd and heaviest level ( talakh is what they call it I think ) There is no turning back. The other 2 levels, the couple can have a chance to reconcile
Islamic Courts in Malaysia, Brunei, Sinagpore and Indonesia has very specific laws that protect the rights of the woman who is divorced by her husband, especially if she has been ill-treated or abused.

According my point of View Islam dont ask you to Divorce!!but love ,if you love someone you have to compromise,Women not to wash the cloths,or Clean the home and do only specific jobs,women can do many things and she have freedoms!
People divorce lack of education and selfish mentality!an eager to get freedom or greedy about money or hungry for sex!
work ethics make people away from the Loved ones!but they excuse with words like Over stress at work,or Over Time jobs!!
people are free to choose what they want in Life!!but not all do!!!
Its not a common practice in Islam to divorce somebody unless you really cant get along!!
Divorcing is a one side story!One side man or women willing to accept the other half and try to compromise!but on the otherside they believe what they see but not the reality!in the end they split!they start look for new companion and back againe to same stuffs!!WOMEN NEVER TRUST MAN,MAN ALLWAYS TRUST WOMEN AND DONT KNOW WHY!!its funny isnt?
Divorce will bring shame on to Family!but divorced person never gonna accept the reality and allways blame other half!!make excuses to stay on the top in her or his family!!its sad !and its make other half a feeling of Agony!!
But instead if you Love and understand and think back those things she or he did for you and compare other couples you never feel to Divorce the man or women you marry!!!
