i have 2 OS installed in my laptop n recently found 1 of my OS not working good. to uninstall it i have to format my laptop, which i dunt want to do that. did someone know how to hide the OS option during start up? please help me...

i've installed XP n my fren installed Server 2003 w/out my permission, n in the same drive. as far as i knew it can't be remove. but u said it can be remove.. how? my 1st OS is XP and 2nd is Server 2003 which is clumsy for me... thanks 4 ur help..

Depends on which two OSs you had installed. Both Windows XP/Vista and the versions of Linux, if installed as the second OS, will add the OS menu. But the removal is different if Linux was the second OS then if Windows was the second OS.

So please repost with what OSs you had, in what order they were installed, and the exact version of Windows and/or Linux you had.

Then the question can be answers....

If it is not working just remove the partition where the OS is installed. You cant hide the OS selection menu. It is also waste of space.

Its simple Right click My computer --->Properties --->Advanced--->Setting(Start up recovery)--->select the os which is working and disable the two check box or make the time as 0 that's it.
