The question of whether or not God exists comes up so often in this forum, I searched for days to find a fitting answer. Read the article at the link below. At the end of the article there are links to even more compelling articles about the deity of Jesus and end times prophecy. Well worth the read if you're really looking for the answer.

Let's see them predict the future. Predictions of events that have already happened are utterly uninteresting.

I'm amazed that so many people are so convinced by predictions of past events. What are you people thinking?

And to the kid just above me - all you're doing with that nonsense is exposing your arrogant ignorance. Obviously Darwin never said that there would be any half-human/half-apes, and if you honestly believe that, you've got to stop hanging around with the kinds of liars you're hanging with.

The correct answer to your questions is simply

- Evolution never said that anything of the sort would happen.
- We didn't come from chimps, we come from earlier forms.
- We still have the DNA of those earlier forms. That's why we share so much DNA with our cousins (e.g., the higher apes).
- As far as DNA "disappearing", every time a new cell is formed through sexual reproduction, it contains DNA from both the mother and the father, and half of each parent's DNA is discarded.

There. Your questions are answered. Are you going to admit it, or continue to ask them this way, thus exposing yourself as nothing more than a liar?

What about prophecies written way before Jesus? The Hindus scriptures and the Buddhist's scriptures are a lot older than the Bible. In this case, Buddhism doesn't proclaim a God creator

OK... I read that. Those articles are 'compelling' only to scientifically and historically ignorant people who are fundamentally cullable, and incapable of critical thought. Think about it... you are essentiall proclaiming that a cosmic Jewish zombie, who is his own father, can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him that you accept him as your master so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced to eat from a magical tree by an infinitely sadistic being, disguised as a talking snake with legs...

Get a grip!

For those who have strong enough faith in Him, proof is not necessary; because their belief does not need to be defended. It is only the weak that feel it necessary to prove the existence of G-d, because their faith is weak and lacking.

Science can't and will not proof the existence of G-d. Nor do I want scientists to try to do so, they still can't explain what 'caused' the Big Bang or recreate it.

Besides, I have yet to receive an answer to this series of questions ... IF Darwin is correct and humans came from a previous life-form ...

(1) When was the last time a human gave birth to a half-human / half-chimp?
(2) When was the last time that a chimp gave birth to a half-chimp / half-human?
(3) Where did the DNA of the chimp go? IF the chimp was supposed to become human, its DNA would still be a part of our genetic make-up; like recessive genes.
(4) So, can DNA just vanish or disappear from a life-form?

These are simple questions that deserve answers from the science community.

And if you don't agree with me, that is fine. Having thumbs-down is not the 'end of the world', so I thank you for reading and replying to my post.

I think you want to believe so strongly just about anything will pass as proof for you. I sympathize really but this stuff is pretty weak. You are aware that there has been a lot of scholarship on prophecies and their inherent ambiguities, likelihood of being written after the fact in certain cases, and outright failure. People who want them to be true in many cases have reinterpreted what they meant to make them true.
Sorry.

Sir, if your belief gives you comfort, by all means believe that a god exists. I'm afraid your 'proof' is not proof at all but merely yet more of what I call 'Holy Babytalk,' written by Christians on a Christian website. I'm surprised it took you so long to find it, it's all over the Internet, it's all been heard here endless times before. No need for you to torture yourself--if this god and this religion are your cup-of-tea, sip it. I'm a coffee drinker in the morning.

Once one understands the message of the Bible.
Once one understands the demonstration of Love that God showed to us.

Once one understands what God has done for us,the Bible story simply could not have been made up by the 40 different men who wrote it over a period of 1600 years.

The people who do not believe, simply do not see the love God.has for them.

I seriously doubt it.
"The survival of the Jewish people is proof that god exists" - thats not very credible. Its the same as saying "the fact that my dart hit the bullseye is proof that god was guiding it". This is not proof.
One could just as easily say "the fact that my dart missed the bullseye is proof there is no god".
Laughable.

The end of times has always been "predicted"
1899 the end of times and nothing happened
1999 the end of times is coming and nothing happened.
Do you see a pattern?

What is the point of proof of existence of god? Religion is about faith which means proof isn't needed.. Shouldn't the religious proove their faith to god rather than providing proof of god to others?
